Joan was a gal who was courageous and tender, becoming a military leader despite her gender—an act that ultimately put her on trial for public heresy. During her trial, she was patient and gentle while responding to questions with sharp intelligence. She was eventually sentenced to execution by burning, and Joan is now the patron saint of France.
 
The top note of this candle is smoke traced with a bit of amber, the middle note is lavender with a hint of oud—and a blend of rosemary and lemon verbena sits at the base of this scent.
